Ryzen 3 4300U vs Core i3-8350K specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 3 4300U beats the Core i3-8350K in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i3-8350K has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i3-8350K has a significantly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 4300U. A Ryzen 3 4300U CPU outputs less heat than a Core i3-8350K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 4300U has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i3-8350K. Despite this, the Core i3-8350K has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 4300U.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 4300U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
