Ryzen 3 4300U vs Core i3-7350K specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 4300U performs better than the Core i3-7350K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i3-7350K in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 3 4300U has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Core i3-7350K has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i3-7350K has a significantly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 4300U. A Ryzen 3 4300U CPU outputs less heat than a Core i3-7350K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 3 4300U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i3-7350K. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 4300U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
