Ryzen 3 4300GE vs Core i7-10870H benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-10870H is faster than the Ryzen 3 4300GE. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 4300GE in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-10870H has significantly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Ryzen 3 4300GE has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 4300GE. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 3 4300GE has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-10870H. A Ryzen 3 4300GE CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-10870H CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache. The Core i7-10870H also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 4300GE has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
