Ryzen 3 4300GE vs Core i3-1315U specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Core i3-1315U beats the Ryzen 3 4300GE in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 4300GE in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i3-1315U has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Ryzen 3 4300GE has 4 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 4300GE has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-1315U. Despite this, the Core i3-1315U has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache. The Core i3-1315U also has significantly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 4300GE has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
