Ryzen 3 4300G vs Xeon Gold 6128 comparison
In our benchmarks, the Xeon Gold 6128 beats the Ryzen 3 4300G in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 4300G in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Xeon Gold 6128 has significantly more cores with 6 cores compared to the Ryzen 3 4300G that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 4300G. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 4300G has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon Gold 6128. A Ryzen 3 4300G CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon Gold 6128 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 4300G has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
