Ryzen 3 4300G vs Core i7-7700K specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-7700K is faster than the Ryzen 3 4300G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 4300G in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i7-7700K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 4300G. A Ryzen 3 4300G CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-7700K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 4300G has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i7-7700K. Despite this, the Core i7-7700K has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 4300G.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 4300G has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
