Ryzen 3 3350U vs Xeon E5-2650 v2 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon E5-2650 v2 is faster than the Ryzen 3 3350U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 3350U in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon E5-2650 v2 has significantly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Ryzen 3 3350U has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 3350U. Our comparison shows that the Xeon E5-2650 v2 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 3350U. A Ryzen 3 3350U CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2650 v2 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3350U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
