Ryzen 3 3350U vs Phenom II X6 1100T benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 3 3350U beats the Phenom II X6 1100T in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Phenom II X6 1100T in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Phenom II X6 1100T has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Ryzen 3 3350U has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 3350U. With our hardware info, we find that the Phenom II X6 1100T has a significantly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 3350U. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Phenom II X6 1100T has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 3 3350U. The Phenom II X6 1100T also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3350U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
