In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 3 3350U beats the FX-8150 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-8150 in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the FX-8150 has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the FX-8150 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 3350U. A Ryzen 3 3350U CPU outputs less heat than a FX-8150 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP.
