Ryzen 3 3350U vs Core i7-6700T specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-6700T performs better than the Ryzen 3 3350U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 3350U in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i7-6700T has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-6700T has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 3350U. A Ryzen 3 3350U CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-6700T CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 3 3350U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-6700T. Despite this, the Core i7-6700T has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 3350U.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3350U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
