Ryzen 3 3350U vs Core i7-1065G7 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-1065G7 is faster than the Ryzen 3 3350U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 3350U in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i7-1065G7 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 3350U has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-1065G7. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 3 3350U has more L2 cache than the Core i7-1065G7. Despite this, the Core i7-1065G7 has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 3350U.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3350U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
