Ryzen 3 3350U vs Core i5-2500K comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-2500K is faster than the Ryzen 3 3350U. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 3350U has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-2500K has a significantly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 3350U. Also, the Core i5-2500K has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 3350U CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-2500K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3350U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
