Ryzen 3 3300X vs Ryzen 7 4700G specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 3300X performs better than the Ryzen 7 4700G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 4700G in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Ryzen 7 4700G has significantly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Ryzen 3 3300X that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 3300X. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 3300X has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 4700G. Despite this, the Ryzen 7 4700G has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 4700G has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 3 3300X. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 3300X has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 7 4700G.
