Ryzen 3 3300X vs Core i5-10500T comparison
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-10500T performs better than the Ryzen 3 3300X. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 3300X has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i5-10500T has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 3 3300X. Indeed, the Core i5-10500T has 6 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Ryzen 3 3300X. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 3300X. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 3300X has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-10500T. Also, the Ryzen 3 3300X has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i5-10500T outputs less heat than Ryzen 3 3300X thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 3300X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
