Ryzen 3 3300U vs Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE comparison
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE performs better than the Ryzen 3 3300U. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 3300U has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has more threads. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 3300U. Also, the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 3300U CPU outputs less heat than a Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache and L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3300U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
