In our benchmarks, the FX-8350 beats the Ryzen 3 3300U in overall performance. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 3300U has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the FX-8350 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-8350 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 3300U. Also, the FX-8350 has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 3300U CPU outputs less heat than a FX-8350 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
