Ryzen 3 3200U vs Core i5-4570T comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-4570T is faster than the Ryzen 3 3200U. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 3200U has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-4570T has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 3200U. Also, the Core i5-4570T has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 3200U CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-4570T CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 3200U has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i5-4570T. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 3200U has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
