Ryzen 3 3200G vs Ryzen 7 2700U comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 3200G performs better than the Ryzen 7 2700U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 2700U in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Ryzen 7 2700U has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 3200G has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 7 2700U. The Ryzen 7 2700U outputs less heat than Ryzen 3 3200G thanks to a significantly lower TDP.
