Ryzen 3 3200G vs Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE is faster than the Ryzen 3 3200G. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has more threads. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 3 3200G has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache and L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
