Ryzen 3 3200G vs Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 3 3200G is faster than the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 3200G has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE. Also, the Ryzen 3 3200G has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE outputs less heat than Ryzen 3 3200G thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache and L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking.
