Ryzen 3 3200G vs Ryzen 5 7600X comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 5 7600X is faster than the Ryzen 3 3200G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 3200G in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Ryzen 5 7600X has significantly more cores with 6 cores compared to the Ryzen 3 3200G that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 3200G. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 5 7600X has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 3200G. Also, the Ryzen 5 7600X has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 3200G CPU outputs less heat than a Ryzen 5 7600X CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 5 7600X has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 3 3200G. The Ryzen 5 7600X also has significantly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
