Ryzen 3 3200G vs Ryzen 3 4300G specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 3 4300G beats the Ryzen 3 3200G in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 3200G in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Ryzen 3 4300G has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 4300G has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 3200G. Furthermore, both these CPUs have identical turbo speeds. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache and L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
