Ryzen 3 3200G vs FX-8350 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 3 3200G is faster than the FX-8350. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-8350 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the FX-8350 has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the FX-8350 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 3200G. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the FX-8350 has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 3 3200G. The FX-8350 also has significantly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
