Ryzen 3 3200G vs Core i7-6700K specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-6700K is faster than the Ryzen 3 3200G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 3200G in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i7-6700K has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i7-6700K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 3200G. A Ryzen 3 3200G CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-6700K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 3 3200G has more L2 cache than the Core i7-6700K. Despite this, the Core i7-6700K has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 3200G.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
