Ryzen 3 3200G vs Core i7-11850H specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-11850H is faster than the Ryzen 3 3200G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 3200G in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-11850H has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 3 3200G. Indeed, the Core i7-11850H has 8 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Ryzen 3 3200G. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 3200G. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 3 3200G has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-11850H. The Core i7-11850H outputs less heat than Ryzen 3 3200G thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
