Ryzen 3 3200G vs Core i5-6600K benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-6600K is faster than the Ryzen 3 3200G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 3200G in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 3200G has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-6600K. A Ryzen 3 3200G CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-6600K CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 3 3200G has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-6600K. Despite this, the Core i5-6600K has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 3200G.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
