Ryzen 3 3200G vs Core i3-N300 specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 3200G performs better than the Core i3-N300. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i3-N300 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i3-N300 has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 3 3200G. Indeed, the Core i3-N300 has 8 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Ryzen 3 3200G. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 3200G. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 3 3200G has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-N300. Also, the Ryzen 3 3200G has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i3-N300 outputs less heat than Ryzen 3 3200G thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Core i3-N300 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 3 3200G. The Core i3-N300 also has significantly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
