Ryzen 3 3200G vs Core i3-7350K comparison
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 3200G performs better than the Core i3-7350K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i3-7350K in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 3 3200G has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Core i3-7350K has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i3-7350K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 3200G. The Core i3-7350K outputs less heat than Ryzen 3 3200G thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 3200G has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i3-7350K. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
