Ryzen 3 3200G vs Core i3-13100 specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i3-13100 performs better than the Ryzen 3 3200G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 3200G in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i3-13100 has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 3200G has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-13100. Despite this, the Core i3-13100 has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core i3-13100 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 3 3200G. The Core i3-13100 also has significantly more L3 cache.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
