Ryzen 3 3200G vs A10-6700 comparison
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 3200G performs better than the A10-6700. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-6700 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A10-6700 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 3200G. Also, the A10-6700 has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the A10-6700 has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 3 3200G
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 3200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
