Ryzen 3 3100 vs N100 specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 3100 performs better than the N100. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the N100 in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Ryzen 3 3100 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 3100 has a significantly higher clock speed than the N100. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches. The Ryzen 3 3100 also has significantly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 3100 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
