Ryzen 3 2300X vs Ryzen 5 1500X comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 5 1500X is faster than the Ryzen 3 2300X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 2300X in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Ryzen 5 1500X has more threads. According to our data, the Ryzen 3 2300X and Ryzen 5 1500X have the same clock speed. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 2300X has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
