Ryzen 3 2300X vs FX-9590 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the FX-9590 is faster than the Ryzen 3 2300X. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 2300X has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the FX-9590 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-9590 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 2300X. A Ryzen 3 2300X CPU outputs less heat than a FX-9590 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
