Ryzen 3 2300U vs Core i7-4702MQ benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 2300U performs better than the Core i7-4702MQ. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-4702MQ in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i7-4702MQ has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-4702MQ has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 2300U. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 2300U has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 2300U CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-4702MQ CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 2300U has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i7-4702MQ. Despite this, the Core i7-4702MQ has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 2300U.
