Ryzen 3 2200G vs Xeon E5-2420 v2 specs and performance

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Xeon E5-2420 v2 has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 3 2200G. Indeed, the Xeon E5-2420 v2 has 6 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Ryzen 3 2200G. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 2200G. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 2200G has a significantly higher clock speed than the Xeon E5-2420 v2. Also, the Ryzen 3 2200G has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 2200G CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2420 v2 CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
