Ryzen 3 2200G vs Ryzen 5 5600GT benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 5 5600GT beats the Ryzen 3 2200G in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 2200G in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 5 5600GT has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Ryzen 3 2200G has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 2200G. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 5600GT has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 2200G. Also, the Ryzen 5 5600GT has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 5600GT has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 3 2200G. The Ryzen 5 5600GT also has significantly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Ryzen 3 2200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
