Ryzen 3 2200G vs Core m3-6Y30 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 3 2200G is faster than the Core m3-6Y30. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core m3-6Y30 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 3 2200G has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Core m3-6Y30 has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 2200G has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core m3-6Y30. Also, the Ryzen 3 2200G has a significantly higher turbo speed. The Core m3-6Y30 outputs less heat than Ryzen 3 2200G thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 2200G has significantly more L2 cache than the Core m3-6Y30. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 2200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
