Ryzen 3 2200G vs Core i9-13900KF benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i9-13900KF performs better than the Ryzen 3 2200G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 2200G in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i9-13900KF has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 3 2200G. Indeed, the Core i9-13900KF has 24 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Ryzen 3 2200G. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 2200G. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 3 2200G has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i9-13900KF. Despite this, the Core i9-13900KF has a significantly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 2200G CPU outputs less heat than a Core i9-13900KF CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i9-13900KF has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 3 2200G. The Core i9-13900KF also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 2200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
