Ryzen 3 2200G vs Core i7-10750H specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-10750H performs better than the Ryzen 3 2200G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 2200G in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-10750H has significantly more cores with 6 cores compared to the Ryzen 3 2200G that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 2200G. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 3 2200G has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-10750H. Despite this, the Core i7-10750H has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i7-10750H outputs less heat than Ryzen 3 2200G thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 2200G has slightly more L2 cache than the Core i7-10750H. Despite this, the Core i7-10750H has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 2200G.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 2200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
