Ryzen 3 2200G vs Core i5-13600KF comparison

In our benchmarks, the Core i5-13600KF beats the Ryzen 3 2200G in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 2200G in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-13600KF has significantly more cores with 14 cores whereas the Ryzen 3 2200G has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 2200G. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 3 2200G has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-13600KF. Despite this, the Core i5-13600KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 2200G CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-13600KF CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i5-13600KF has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 3 2200G. The Core i5-13600KF also has significantly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 2200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
