Ryzen 3 2200G vs Core i3-8350K comparison
In our benchmarks, the Core i3-8350K beats the Ryzen 3 2200G in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 2200G in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i3-8350K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 2200G. A Ryzen 3 2200G CPU outputs less heat than a Core i3-8350K CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 3 2200G has more L2 cache than the Core i3-8350K. Despite this, the Core i3-8350K has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 2200G.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 2200G has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
