Ryzen 3 1300X vs Xeon E5-2640 v3 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon E5-2640 v3 is faster than the Ryzen 3 1300X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 1300X in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon E5-2640 v3 has significantly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Ryzen 3 1300X has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 1300X. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 1300X has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon E5-2640 v3. Also, the Ryzen 3 1300X has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 1300X CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2640 v3 CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
