Ryzen 3 1300X vs Xeon E3-1270 V2 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon E3-1270 V2 is faster than the Ryzen 3 1300X. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 1300X has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Xeon E3-1270 V2 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon E3-1270 V2 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 1300X. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 3 1300X has more L2 cache than the Xeon E3-1270 V2. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Ryzen 3 1300X has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
