Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Xeon E3-1230 v3 performs better than the Ryzen 3 1300X. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 1300X has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Xeon E3-1230 v3 has more threads.
