Ryzen 3 1300X vs Ryzen 5 PRO 7530U benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 5 PRO 7530U beats the Ryzen 3 1300X in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 1300X in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 5 PRO 7530U has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Ryzen 3 1300X has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 1300X. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 1300X has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 5 PRO 7530U. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 PRO 7530U has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 5 PRO 7530U outputs less heat than Ryzen 3 1300X thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 5 PRO 7530U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 3 1300X. The Ryzen 5 PRO 7530U also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Ryzen 3 1300X has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
