Ryzen 3 1300X vs Core i7-4770K benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-4770K is faster than the Ryzen 3 1300X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 1300X in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Core i7-4770K has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-4770K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 1300X. Also, the Core i7-4770K has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Ryzen 3 1300X CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-4770K CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 3 1300X has more L2 cache than the Core i7-4770K. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 1300X has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
