Ryzen 3 1300X vs Core i5-11400T comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-11400T is faster than the Ryzen 3 1300X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 1300X in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-11400T has significantly more cores with 6 cores compared to the Ryzen 3 1300X that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 1300X. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 1300X has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-11400T. Furthermore, both these CPUs have identical turbo speeds. The Core i5-11400T outputs less heat than Ryzen 3 1300X thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Core i5-11400T has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 3 1300X. The Core i5-11400T also has significantly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 1300X has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
