Ryzen 3 1300X vs Core i3-8350K benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i3-8350K performs better than the Ryzen 3 1300X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 1300X in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Core i3-8350K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 3 1300X. A Ryzen 3 1300X CPU outputs less heat than a Core i3-8350K CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 1300X has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i3-8350K. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Ryzen 3 1300X has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
