Ryzen 3 1300X vs Core i3-10100 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i3-10100 performs better than the Ryzen 3 1300X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 1300X in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Core i3-10100 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i3-10100 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 1300X. Also, the Core i3-10100 has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 3 1300X has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i3-10100. The Ryzen 3 1300X also has slightly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Ryzen 3 1300X has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
