Ryzen 3 1200 vs FX-8300 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 3 1200 is faster than the FX-8300. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-8300 in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the FX-8300 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-8300 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 1200. In terms of cache, the FX-8300 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 3 1200. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking.
